You are so precious to me! Your bashful smile melts my heart. I LOVE how you expose your exuberence with a huge grin and then tuck your cheek down into your shoulder in a bashful manner. You are so easy going. You have to be with such a boisterous big sister:)
You have been rolling from tummy to back, though it takes a lot to get you to do it. The best motivation is your desire to get off of your tummy! :) You have been "tripodding" but are not quite ready to sit on your own yet. We put you in the walker we bought when Lulu was 8 months old. You started in it when you were 4.5 months old and within a very short time you were slowly "hopping" your way slowly across the room. You are coordinating your feel well for such a young age and the pride on your face makes your dad and I both so happy.
You are using your arms and hands really well too! You grab at everything, including my hair;)
Sometimes you stop and just stare at your hand in front of you, as though you have never seen them before. The wonder on your face is adorable. You also move your arms back and forth urgently at times and I know that you are eager to grow and learn. You are such an adorable little boy.
At Easter everyone wanted to hold you and fawn over you! Linda thought you were so precious and Jodi loved to cuddle with you. You *ARE* a most comfortable little one to cuddle! You fit so well into my lap.
I simply adore you. I love the first moments of our day when you wake up against my chest and look up into my eyes and have the natural instinct to flash the biggest and most happy smile. You start my day in the best way possible. You are so sweet when Lulu hugs you and grabs your hand and gets in your face to coo at you. She adores you as well. You are so quick to offer huge belly laughs any time she dances or plays energetically with the dogs.
You are growing up way too fast! At almost 5 months old I feel like you have been a part of my life forever. You actually have, you are the exact little boy that I have always dreamt I would have, just as Lulu is the little girl I have always wanted. You are both the reason I love to be alive. I LOVE being a mommy because of you. I love being YOUR mommy!
